Herbert Hofmann, born in 1964 in Mannheim, grew up in the family business. His grandfather, Ferdinand Hofmann III, built in his birth year a large, 14-room residence. The constant construction and expansion of the property by his grandfather and later his father shaped his life early – the “Bauluft” (The Need To Build) would not let him go.
At the age of 24, he moved into his first own property and has thus laid the foundation for his later field of activity. After training as a hotel manager, he realized that he can make money in the real estate business and also make a stable investment for the future. In 20 successful years to come Herbert Hofmann had built, rented and sold numerous houses.
Hofmann: “I have nothing on Thursday, so let’s begin to build!”
In 2008, the old love has been rekindled by a Florida vacation and Herbert Hofmann recognized the opportunities that were just at emergence. The housing crisis in the United States / Florida offered the chance he knew he had to grasp. It was not long until he made the decision to emigrate to the US and set up a new business there.
Hofmann decided to use his experience in hotel and construction industry in Germany in the rental of holiday homes. Having achieved A++ grade at his exam as Certified Estate Agent he made it his goal to incorporate the best German standards into American market.
